Isa 26:3 – Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. 4 Trust ye in the Lord forever: for in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:
We can have God’s peace in the midst of the raging storms of life. We can have the peace of God while the world’s stress levels are constantly rising. To have God’s peace we must look beyond the world’s distractions and focus on Jesus. God will keep us in perfect peace as we keep our minds on Him. “Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.” (Jer 17:7)
1. God’s Word Gives Us Peace
John 16:33 – These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
2. Jesus is Our Peace
Eph 2:14 – For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
3. The Peace of God is Beyond Human Understanding
Phil 4:7 – And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Prayer Focus: Father, help me to remember to pray in all situations so that my heart and mind will be guided by your peace.
Verse of the Day: Col 3:15 – And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
Living the Word Today: Look unto Jesus as the Author and Finisher of your faith.
