We are the people of God 1 Peter 2:10 – Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. We are called by the name of the Lord 2 Tim 2:19 – Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. Acts 11:26 – …And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch. We must humble ourselves – prayer is an act of humility Matt 23:12 – And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased, and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted. We Ought to Always Pray 1 Tim 2:8 – I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting. Prayer Focus: Father, heal our land. Deliver us O God. Verse of the Day: Ezek 22:30 – And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.
